Treating Adolescent and Adult communication disorders is complex because of the verbal requirements of our technological age

We are one of the few clinics that specializes in language development and disorders across the life span. Language milestones continue to develop into our early twenties, yet most school and clinic programs emphasize language therapy in the early childhood years.

Communication demands during High School, College and Career increases stress on individuals who present with developmental or acquired communication disorders.

Identifying exactly where the individual is breaking down in their acquisition of new knowledge is KEY to effective therapy. At our clinic we do that.  The American Psychiatric Association (APA) states 50% of adults who had untreated Speech-Language-Learning Disabilities have psychiatric problems in adulthood.
